“Being apart of this challenge would have to be one of the best things to ever happen to me.”
Due to having an extremely busy working life and a young family, exercise and healthy eating habits were put on the back burner. 10 weeks ago I would come home from work, grab a packet of chocolate biscuits (or similar), a Pepsi max and spend the rest of the evening on the couch. I had zero energy and having bad night’s sleep was an everyday occurrence. Nana naps were my friend. Exercise was not even a distant thought.
These days I get a good night’s sleep every night, nana naps are a thing of the past and working out my timetable to get in at least one gym session a day is now priority.
A friend of mine told me about the challenge and I entered just before the closing time. I admit I wasn’t fully aware of why or what I was entering. She missed out, I got in.
Being apart of this challenge would have to be one of the best things to ever happen to me. Not only have I learnt to love exercise and re-learn how to eat healthy again, I have also discovered a whole new world One that includes early morning exercise and also teaching my children all about being active and eating correctly.
Plus being a part of My PT Rules has also opened up so many new friendships. Team Blue, Team Orange, Trainers, Staff, 4CC crew, Members at YFC- I cannot thank you enough for this amazing experience. And just because the challenge is over, does not mean I will be reverting back to old habits.
