From the first time I came to YFC which was late March 2015 I weighed 120kg, first time ever at a gym. Worked hard and weighed myself at the end of the first week and hadn’t lost anything. So I decided then to push on and not weigh myself again until I was picked for this challenge. At the beginning of his challenge I weighed 113kg so from working hard those previous 6 weeks I had made the effort to push on and lose 7kg.
At the beginning of this challenge I set a goal of trying to lose weight each week. The personal trainers were a great influence on me and the gym clientele were also. It has been a fantastic journey but probably lost most of my weight in the previous fortnight but was very motivated to not so much to win but to see how far I could be pushed. Towards the end of this challenge I was maybe pushing too hard which resulted in a few niggling injuries which handicapped me a little bit but I pushed on and maintained my goal of losing weight each week.
Hopefully after the challenge I will continue at this gym working hard to maintain my friendships and weight loss journey.
